Visiting Policy

Fox Creek Farm has been open to the public for visitation purposes for the past 20 years.  For most of those years, we were open 7 days a week.  Due to the added labor involved in disinfecting the entire kennel after each visitor and the need to have some family time, we have decided to move to a one day per month visitation day when we are accepting applications.  This frees up more time for socialization and care of puppies and allows us to have the ability to plan for personal and family time.  The day scheduled for visiting will be posted here.  The hours we accept visitors are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the last appointment accepted will be 2 p.m. to allow your visit to last a minimum of an hour.  Please do not visit any other kennel or shelter the day you plan to come to Fox Creek Farm to minimize the risk of spreading germs.  Your visit will include a tour of the facility, interaction with dogs of many sizes, and a question/answer session.  At no time will any visitors be allowed to interact with puppies.

.  The next visitors day is not scheduled at this time.  We only host visitors days when we are accepting applications.  We don't expect to be able to accept new applications until late Summer, 2017 as all our litters ready this summer are reserved.

You must still have an appointment, so please email your name, phone number, and time you would like to arrive.  No one will be admitted without a scheduled appointment.  Please follow the directions on the "Location" page as GPS will not bring you an appropriate way if it can find us at all!

Many times families do not want to submit an applciation without first having the opportunity to visit our facility, meet our dogs, and have their many questions answered.  You are welcome to wait until after your visit to submit an application which secures your placement on our waiting list.  The typical wait to receive a puppy once you submit an application is 4-6 months.  However, if it is your wish to minimize your wait for a puppy, you can submit an application ahead of your visit to secure your placement on the waiting list.  Fox Creek Farm will remove your application from the waiting list and return your application fee at the time of your visit if you are not completely impressed with our facility and our dogs.  This is the only time an application fee will be refunded.
